Jan Eugster
In 1996, I started a four year apprenticeship as casting technician and art founder in the Kunstgiesserei St.Gallen AG, where I worked until the end of 2007. From the year of 2000 I was running the patina workshop, where, among other clients, I patinated for Hans Josephsohn. I also got specialized in new technologies and various materials. From 2005, I was managing the production of the foundry in St.Gallen and was involved in starting and refining the collaboration with partner foundry in Shanghai. Until the end of 2007, I was a driving force of the growth of the foundry and was responsible for several important projects for Urs Fischer, Ugo Rondinone, Elmgreen & Dragset, Anne Chu and many others.

At the end of 2008, Jan Eugster LLC was incorporated.
Specialized in consulting artists in techniques and materials, and finding customized solutions for their three dimensional art projects. Jan Eugster LLC takes full responsibility for the realization of each sculpture.
